Instagram está avisando a los poseedores de cuentas verificadas dado que han detectado que hay una campaña de hackeo masivo a un importante número de s de cuentas verificadas, sobre todo a celebridades e influencers. De nuevo se pone en entredicho la seguridad de nuestros datos en redes sociales y nosotros nos preguntamos ¿tan expuestos es? ¿cómo de sencillo es que alguien nos hackee la cuenta?
Primero vamos con la información y luego entraremos en las preguntas. Tanto a ADSLZone como al resto de los s con cuentas verificadas en Instagram, desde anoche, están recibiendo este mensaje:
We recently discovered that one or more individuals obtained unlawful access to a number of high-profile Instagram s’ information — specifically email address and phone number — by exploiting a bug in an Instagram API. No s were accessed. We fixed the bug swiftly and are running a thorough investigation.
Our main concern is for the safety of our community and, out of an abundance of caution, we are reaching out to all verified s. At this point we believe this effort was targeted at high-profile s. We encourage you to be extra vigilant about the security of your and exercise caution if you encounter any suspicious activity such as unrecognized incoming calls, texts and emails.
